Nationals outfielder Elijah Dukes was scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Marlins and fined $500 for being five minutes late.

Washington general manager Mike Rizzo and manager Manny Acta made the decision, and Dukes was warned that if he is late again, he will be optioned to Triple-A Syracuse.
