Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez is scheduled to begin working out at the team's minor-league complex in Tampa at 11 a.m. on Monday.

Rodriguez is set to address the media following the workout.

"He will stretch, do some light jogging, [take] ground balls and [do] tee and toss work," manager Joe Girardi said.

"Then he will have [physical therapy]. He will have long days. It's not like normal spring training, where you show up for a couple of hours."
