Madison Bumgarner, the Giants' top prospect and one of the best two or three minor league pitchers in the game, pitched six scoreless innings in his Single-A start on Friday.

Bumgarner struck out five while giving up two hits and zero walks.

In 2008, Bumgarner had a 1.47 ERA and 154 strikeouts in 134.2 innings.
