Pitcher Scott Olsen, a former member of the Marlins, doesn't believe that Miami is a baseball town. "It's not a baseball town. The stadium will help, but it won't cure the attendance," Olsen said. He added that he liked playing there, but the small crowds were "a joke" and that a few times, players would actually count the number of fans in attendance. "It made it feel almost as bad as being in the Gulf Coast League," he added.
