Angels manager Mike Scioscia would like his team to show more patience and discipline at the plate this season.

Discipline is "something that needs to be re-infused into some of our players," said Scioscia.

The team is hoping that Bobby Abreu will help bring that type of outlook to the lineup.

"It's always been part of my approach," Abreu said. "Since I've been playing, I've always been that way."
