Mets manager Jerry Manuel believes that Carlos Delgado will carry over the success he had late in 2008 into the new season.

"From what I'm seeing, we will get what we saw in the second half," Manuel said Saturday.

"I'm very happy with where he's at right now. I think we all at some point in time wonder what you're going to get. We really don't know. But indications are we feel pretty good about where he is."
