Cubs starter Carlos Zambrano is excited for the 2009 season to get under way, and claims that his right arm is ready to "rock and roll."

"I don't have to prove anything," Zambrano said. "I've been in the big leagues for eight years. They know what I'm capable of doing. Speaking of last year, it's already in the past. The numbers were there; they stay in the past. This is a new year and I have to put up good numbers. I have to help this team."

Zambrano has both pitched and hit extremely well this spring.

"I'm just waiting for the season to rock and roll," Zambrano said.
