Yankees pitcher A.J. Burnett believes that his Bruce Lee tattoo protected him from a line drive on Thursday night.

Toronto's John McDonald hit a second-inning line drive that nailed Burnett in the left triceps, but he escaped without injury.

"It's a good thing I have Bruce Lee," said Burnett, referring to the area where the tattoo resides.
