Andruw Jones has an opt-out clause in his contract that is triggered on Friday if he is not placed on the team's 40-man roster. Jones said he hasn't made up his mind, but he should know more about his future Friday.

The Rangers appear to have answered the question for Jones. He's one of seven outfielders still in camp, but he hasn't played in a big league exhibition game since March 13. Instead, he's been relegated to getting his at-bats in minor league games. He hit two home runs in a Double-A game Wednesday but didn't travel with the team to Peoria, Ariz.
