Astros first baseman Lance Berkman isn't worried about the team's win-loss record this spring, which happens to be 1-14-2, because it has no bearing on reaching the World Series.
"If we were 13-1 instead of 1-13, would it matter?" Berkman asked before Sunday's game. "Not one iota. Would we be any closer to winning the World Series? No."
Houston's batting average is .219, the team ERA 5.51 this spring.
