Josh Hamilton has removed the tap step from his swing and it has become more compact. He is hitting .400 this spring.
"He's a better player now than he was last year," manager Ron Washington said. "The fact that he's got some experience, he understands what he's capable of doing. He experienced a lot last year, and you can see a difference."
