The Diamondbacks have renewed the contracts of 21 players, including third baseman Mark Reynolds.

Reynolds' deal was renewed at $422,500 for the 2009 season.

"We just thought that the number was not right," Reynolds said. "It was just something we couldn't agree on. There were no hard feelings on either side."
