Royals reliever Juan Cruz, who recently signed with the team, give rookie Devon Lowery an $8,000 watch for allowing him to take the No. 37.

Lowery told the Kansas City Star that he's more than willing to turn over his new number, 38, if the Royals sign another veteran.
