Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti had to shoot down rumors that the club had signed Manny Ramirez for the second straight day on Tuesday.

The latest rumors stemmed from a voice mail left by a ticket representative that told a potential season ticket holder that the Dodgers were "on the verge of signing" Ramirez.

The club denied a radio report on Monday that Manny "should be a Dodger later this week" with a multi-year deal.
