The Twins are closing in on a deal with Joe Crede, according to Jon Heyman of Sports Illustrated.

It isn't known how much Crede's deal will be worth, but it is expected to be incentive-laden. Minnesota press has reported that's it's likely to top out at $7 million, including incentives.

The Giants have also been in the market for Crede.
