The Mets have signed reliever Elmer Dessens to a minor-league contract and invited him to spring training, the Daily News has learned. Dessens made four relief appearances for the Braves last season.

The righthander would make $600,000 if he spends the season in the majors, with the opportunity to earn another $150,000 in bonuses based on relief appearances.
