Nationals: We Aren't Interested In Manny

MLB.com - Washington general manager Jim Bowden said on Tuesday night that the team is not interested in signing free-agent Manny Ramirez.

"We are not pursuing Manny Ramirez," Bowden said.

Bowden didn't mention any names, but admitted that certain free agents need to lower their prices.

"I can tell you, we continue to work hard [when it comes to signing players] and continue to give our recommendations to [team president] Stan Kasten and keep him abreast on how the market is," Bowden said. [READ]
