Negotiations Between Abreu, White Sox Stalled?

ESPN - Negotiations between free-agent outfielder Bobby Abreu and the White Sox have reportedly broken down.

Earlier this week the team had floated around the possibility of a one-year, $8 million contract, according to a baseball source.

The White Sox wouldn't confirm that they had made Abreu an $8 million offer, but did admit that they had been in contact with Abreu's agent. [READ]
