The White Sox are reportedly on the verge of bringing back pitcher Bartolo Colon to help their starting rotation.

Colon battled back problems in Boston last season and was 15-13 with a 3.87 ERA for Chicago back in 2003.

He is expected to compete with Clayton Richard, Lance Broadway, rookie Aaron Poreda, and Jeff Marquez for the final spots in the team's rotation.
