Legendary Red Sox outfielder Jim Rice, who was finally elected to the Hall of Fame on Monday, could have extended his career with the Yankees in 1990, but elected to retire.

From 1975-86, Rice drove in more runs than any other player in baseball, but his numbers slipped after at 33 because of issues with his eyes, hip, and knees.
