Andy Pettitte has reportedly rejected a one-year, $10 million offer from the Yankees, which makes his return to the team doubtful.

Pettitte wants more money, but the Yankees are unwilling to bend for the pitcher after spending hundreds of millions on CC Sabathia, A.J. Burnett, and Mark Teixeira.

The offer, which Pettitte considered for weeks, represented a 37.5 percent decrease from his $16 million salary last season.
