Yankees Sign Boston's Kevin Cash

New York Post - The Yankees didn't just steal Mark Teixeira from the Red Sox on Tuesday, they also reportedly reached a minor league deal with catcher Kevin Cash.

Cash is insurance in case Jorge Posada does not recover quickly and/or well from shoulder surgery and if prospect Francisco Cervelli is not ready to contribute.

With the highly-publicized Teixeira deal, Cash's signing appeared to fall through the cracks. [READ]
