Officially Re-Signed, Furcal Denies Braves' Charges

Los Angeles Times - Shortstop Rafael Furcal has officially re-signed with the Dodgers and remains adamant about denying reports that he had agreed to a deal with the Braves.

"I don't know what happened," said Furcal, adding that his preference was always to re-sign with the Dodgers.

Atlanta has been very public with their frustration regarding the situation, claiming that Furcal agreed to a deal before backing out and re-signing with Los Angeles.
