Oakland Could End Up Sticking With Crosby

San Francisco Chronicle - With the Dodgers and Braves leading the race to land Rafael Furcal, it's looking more and more likely that the Athletics will be forced to stick with Bobby Crosby at shortstop.

Assuming Furcal isn't in their future, Orlando Cabrera remains on the market as a free agent option. However, Oakland doesn't appear interested unless he can be had for a bargain.

Without many other options, Crosby could retain his job into the 2009 season. [READ]
