The Pirates are still looking to trade shortstop Jack Wilson, but their options are dwindling as the offseason progresses.

Pittsburgh anticipated that if Los Angeles lost free-agent Rafael Furcal to Atlanta that would lead to rekindled interest in Wilson after about two weeks without talks between those teams, but no contact was known to have been made in either direction.
