The Diamondbacks have finalized the signing of infielder Felipe Lopez, inking him to a one-year, $3.5 million on Friday.

"At the beginning of the winter meetings, I didn't think this kind of player would be available for us," Arizona Manager Bob Melvin said. "So I'm as excited as anybody here."
