According to two major league sources, the Yankees will send Melky Cabrera to the Brewers for Mike Cameron on Thursday. Cabrera had a disappointing 2008 season, posting a .249 average with eight homeruns and 37 RBIs. Cameron hit .243 with 25 HRs and 70 RBIs last season. He will earn $10 million in 2009 and is an ideal stop-gap until the Yankees' blue-chip prospect Austin Jackson is ready to take over in center field.
