| 10th December, 2008 - 9:56 pm | RealGM Staff Report - The Pittsburgh Pirates acquired catcher Jason Jaramillo from Philadelphia in exchange for catcher Ronny Paulino.
Jaramillo hit .266 (112-for-421) with 20 doubles, eight home runs, 39 RBI and 48 runs scored in 115 games with Triple-A Lehigh Valley in 2008. Jaramillo, who entered the season tabbed by Baseball America as Philadelphia’s 10th-best prospect, also took home International League mid-season All-Star honors in 2008 while leading all catchers with 113 games played.
