Jake Peavy may still wind up as a Cub, but if that trade goes down, it reportedly won't happen during the winter meetings.

The Cubs and Padres "still have a lot of work to do" before a deal as big, and potentially complicated, as this one goes down, according to a source.

The source added that the only thing the two teams have completely agreed upon is that they will "definitely have a feel for [whether this trade is doable] by Thursday."
