| 10th December, 2008 - 10:51 am | Courier Post - Pat Burrell may prefer to remain with the Phillies, but his agent claims that the veteran left fielder will almost certainly will be playing elsewhere in 2009.
The Phillies reportedly haven't shown much interest in Burrell's services.
"I'm hopeful but I'm also a realist, and I'd be surprised," agent Ed Hayes said when asked if he could see Burrell continuing his career in Philadelphia. "I have not heard anything that would lead me to believe the club wants to have him back." [READ] |
