Phillies' Manuel Seeking Contract Extension

Philadelphia Inquirer - Phillies' manager Charlie Manuel is looking to receive a contract extension from the team after leading them to a World Series in October.

"One of my priorities is to get Charlie the contract extension he deserves," agent Pat Rooney said Sunday night.

The two sides have talked about an extension for 2011 for several weeks but have not been able to reach agreement. [READ]
