Mets Put Winning Ahead Of Setting Budget

Bergen Record - Mets' owner Jeff Wilpon was insistent that putting a winning team in the new stadium was the priority over any budget.

"We don't have a set number that Omar (Minaya) is working off," he said. "We're going to do what we need to do to put the right team on the field so that the fans that come here will be happy with the product," he said. [READ]
