Philadelphia Inquirer - The Phillies have contacted free-agents A.J. Burnett and Derek Lowe and other teams about trade possibilities as they work towards repeating as champions.

"We have a lot of people working on a lot of different things," GM Ruben Amaro Jr. said. "We were behind the eight-ball time-wise. We started a month later than everybody else, basically, which is a good thing and a bad thing." [READ]
