ESPN - Red Sox GM Theo Epstein reportedly spoke with A.J. Burnett's agent Tuesday to express the team's interest in the free-agent right-hander.

Toronto, New York, and Boston are all interested in keeping the pitcher in the AL East.

"They've got a lot of balls in the air," a source said of the Red Sox, "but they're involved now." [READ]
