Dodgers Close To Offer For CC?

Star-Ledger - There are rumblings that the Dodgers either have offered or are about to offer CC Sabathia a six-year contract worth between $110 and $120 million.

The Dodgers are believed to be the trading partner most likely to acquire Roy Halladay if the Blue Jays put him on the market. If the Dodgers feel that they have a good chance of acquiring Halladay via trade, they are more likely to attempt to sign Manny Ramirez than Sabathia. [READ]
