Rockies' third baseman Garrett Atkins isn't sure if he'll be the next player to be traded by the organization. "My relatives and friends are always asking me," Atkins said. "I think they believe I have an inside scoop or talk with our GM or some other team's GM. That's not the case. I tell them I can read the paper, but that's the only scoop I have on anything." Colorado traded All-Star outfielder Matt Holliday to Oakland earlier this week. Atkins hasn't agreed to a multiyear contract that extends beyond his arbitration eligibility, and he has marketability based on his .298 career average.
