Yanks Want Teixeira More Than Manny?

New York Post - The Yankees are reportedly more interested in signing free agent first baseman Mark Teixeira than they are in adding outfielder Manny Ramirez.

New York isn't likely to make a strong offer to Ramirez unless they aren't unable to sign Teixeira and can trade Hideki Matsui, as well.

Trading Matsui would open up the spot of designated hitter for Ramirez. [READ]
