Yanks Open Discussions With Sabathia

Newsday - The Yankees met with representatives for CC Sabathia on Monday in the first step towards signing the free agent lefthander.

Greg Genske, who heads the LS Legacy Sports Group, said that the Yankees were one of many teams with which he and his fellow agents met.

"He's open-minded," agent Brian Peters said of Sabathia. "The Yankees are definitely one of the teams he'd consider." [READ]
