Peavy Also Open To Halos, Yanks

MLB.com - Padres' pitcher Jake Peavy is reportedly open to a possible trade to either the Angels or Yankees.

San Diego GM Kevin Towers has been talking with various teams, but said Monday he does not expect a trade to happen before the General Managers Meetings conclude on Thursday.

"Anything's possible, but I'd say it's unlikely," said Towers.

Towers listed the seven teams -- the Cubs, Cardinals, Dodgers, Astros, Braves, Angels, and Yankees -- that Peavy would consider waiving his no-trade clause to join.
