The Cardinals are looking to add to their bullpen this winter and could take a long look at Brian Fuentes.

Many people in the St. Louis organization want to pursue Fuentes as either a closer or as a dominant setup man if Chris Perez shows he's ready to handle the ninth inning.

Joe Beimel is another option for the Cardinals, who are leaning towards a left-hander.
