Yankees' third baseman Alex Rodriguez is reportedly looking to buy a place just two blocks away from Madonna.

"Alex is moving closer to Madonna," a longtime friend of A-Rod's told the New York Daily News. "I wouldn't say they are an item, but he has a strong attraction to her."

One report claims that Rodriguez is close to buying an $80 million four-bedroom, 5,200-square-foot penthouse.
