Jeff Francoeur says that he will not have another disappointing season like the one he had with the Braves in 2008.

He hit .239 with 11 home runs and a great number of strikeouts this season.

"What happened to me this year will not happen again," Francoeur said. "I weigh 218 now, always my game weight, and I?ve got to get the rest of me in baseball shape. Nobody looked forward to the end of this season more than I did."

"I had never failed like I did this year. I?ve always succeeded in what I did. I?ve never known what it is to fail," he added. "This will not happen again, I promise."
