Cubs' outfielder Alfonso Soriano believes that his team was built for a 162-game season, not a five-game divisional series.

"We're a very good team for [162] games, but we don't do nothing after that," Soriano said. "That's the difference. We're not put together for [a short series]."

Soriano was 1-for-14 in the NLDS and is likely to hear the most criticism over the winter.

"Yeah, it's tough," he said. "We tried, but it just didn't happen. We played all year like a very good team and we expected a little bit more, but it didn't happen."
