Toronto traded shortstop David Eckstein to Arizona on Sunday night in exchange for minor league pitcher Chad Beck, according to Associated Press.

Eckstein was the World Series MVP in 2006 with the Cardinals, and has batted .277 with a homer and 23 RBI for the Blue Jays.
