Cliff Lee won his nineteenth game of the season on Tuesday night as the Indians won their ninth-consecutive contest, according to MLB.com.

Lee pitched 7 2/3 innings, allowing two earned runs on six hits. He struck out four batters, while walking just one. Lee is 19-2 this season with a 2.43 ERA in 26 starts.

Cleveland opened up the game in the third inning, scoring six runs on home runs by Jamey Carroll and Kelly Shoppach.

Despite their nine-game winning streak, the Indians are still nearly twelve games behind the White Sox for first place in the American League Central.
