Freddy Garcia, signed by the Tigers to a minor league deal this month, has been promoted to Triple-A Toledo, according to Detroit Free Press.
Garcia will pitch for the Mud Hens on Wednesday, after pitching two scoreless innings for Class A Lakeland on Saturday.
