Angels' closer Francisco Rodriguez notched a club-record 48th save on Wednesday night in a victory over the Rays, according to The Tampa Tribune.
Rodriguez pitched a scoreless ninth on Wednesday, tying his own franchise-record.
"It's a special season, what he's doing," Angels' Manager Mike Scioscia said. "We've played a lot of close games, and he's been there for us; he's doing a terrific job."
