The Giants have purchased the contracts of C/INF Pablo Sandoval and 3B Ryan Rohlinger from Double-A Connecticut and recalled 1B Travis Ishikawa from Fresno, club Senior Vice President and GM Brian Sabean announced today.

To make room on their 25-man roster, the Giants have optioned 1B John Bowker and C Steve Holm to Fresno. The team also designated INF Jose Castillo for assignment, as reported by MLB.com.
