The Tampa Bay Rays tied the franchise-record for wins, 70, on Saturday with an eleventh-inning victory over the Mariners, according to The St. Petersburg Times.

"It doesn't get," Rays manager Joe Maddon said of the extra-inning win, "much more wild than that."

The Rays now have 46 games left to shatter their franchise-mark for victories. They will also attempt to hold onto first place in the American League East with both the Red Sox and Yankees within striking distance.
