Joba Has Rotator Cuff Tendinitis, Will Throw Again In One Week

MLB.com - Joba Chamberlain has been diagnosed with tendinitis of his right rotator cuff and has been placed on the 15-day disabled list.

Brian Cashman notified club officials of Chamberlain's diagnosis early Wednesday evening before the team's game in Texas.

Chamberlain will rest for approximately the next week in New York and then will start throwing again shortly thereafter. He will not be with the team in either of the next two destinations in Anaheim or Minneapolis. [READ]
